Recently I watched the movie "Trolls". It was released in November last year but I'm usually late when it comes to catching up with the latest movie.
Anyway, the movie was good and I absolutely love the song "True Colours" sang by Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick.
Well as you must know, I usually start my lessons with a story or an introduction that usually connects with the lesson that I'm about to teach.
Today, I will be delving into "Colours" in the Malay language, otherwise known as "Warna".
1. Red - Merah
- I don't like this red bag, I prefer hers. - Saya tak suka beg yang berwarna merah ini, saya lebih suka dia punya.
2. Pink - Merah jambu

6. Black - Hitam
- These black glasses are beautiful. - Cermin mata yang berwarna hitam ini adalah cantik.
Note: "Yang berwarna" means coloured.
Usually when we speak, we do not say "Cermin mata yang berwarna hitam ini". Instead we say "Cermin mata hitam ini".
We usually opt out the "yang berwarna".

- Is this brown wallet yours? - Adakah dompet yang berwarna coklat ini awak punya?

9. Grey - Kelabu
