In this lesson, we will enter the theme "Where Do You Work?". We are going to learn a few words regarding work platforms in Malay.
1. Where do you work? - Di manakah awak bekerja?
("di manakah" means where)
2. I work at ... . - Saya bekerja di ... .
3. An office - Sebuah pejabat
- We work in an office. - Kami bekerja di sebuah pejabat.
Kita bekerja di sebuah pejabat.
4. A hospital - Sebuah hospital
- I need to find a hospital. - Saya perlu mencari sebuah hospital.
5. A restaurant - Sebuah restoran
- I work in a restaurant. - Saya bekerja di sebuah restoran.
6. Law firm - Firma undang-undang
- He works in a very prestigious law firm. - Dia bekerja di sebuah firma undang-undang.
7. A shop - Sebuah kedai
- I am a shop assistant. - Saya seorang pembantu kedai di sebuah kedai pakaian.
("pakaian" means clothes)
8. A clinic - Sebuah klinik
- Carmen works in a clinic. - Carmen bekerja di sebuah klinik.
9. A school - Sebuah sekolah
- She teaches Spanish at a school. - Dia mengajar Sepanyol di sebuah sekolah.
("mengajar" means teaching or teach, "Sepanyol" means Spanish)
