The Malay language... The Malay language is commonly known as Bahasa Melayu whereby "Bahasa" means "Language" and "Melayu" means "Malay".           It is widely used in the southern countries of South East Asia such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.  It is also the national language of Malaysia whereby it is known as Bahasa Malaysia which means the Malaysian Language.  -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this lesson, the theme would be "Hello" whereby we would learn the simple greetings in Malay. 1.
