Starting from the third day, our orientation began at 9 a.m. We had two time slots. From 9 a.m - 12 p.m and from 2 p.m - 5 p.m.

I remember waking up that day at 6 a.m and having breakfast at 7 a.m. Despite feeling tired, I just couldn't go back to sleep (which is a good thing, I think?)

However, restless.

So, for the first time slot, we were divided into two teams, which were Team A and Team B.

The meet up point for Team A was at "Pharmacy Block" at Level 9 (which was where we had our MBBS interview). Meanwhile, the meet up point for Team B was at Level 9 of the "Dental Block".

We were gathered in an auditorium. What followed next were a series of speeches on various topics.

The first talk was "Finance & U". Basically, it was a talk about our tuition fees. Methods of payment and our payment due date.

The second talk was on "Students' Club". However, due to the time constraint, only one club managed to introduced themselves. It was the MAHSA University Christian Fellowship (MuCF) and it was the club that I had chosen to join.

The third talk was given by the staff representative regarding the accommodation provided by the university. The basic do's and don't's of a tenant in the hostel and the consequences of breaking such rule.

After all the talk, we were supposed to have a "Creative Competition" whereby we were supposed to construct anything regarding the university by using only recyclable materials.

However, due to the time constraint, we did not. Truth be told, we actually had more than an hour left. However, each of us were supposed to sign the attendance form and it was moving rather slowly from row to row.

The facilitators were kind enough to entertain us. Cracking jokes and pulling a few people on stage to perform.

The second slot of orientation for the day was really energetic and thrilling. It was the "Treasure Hunt". Personally, the game felt more like the "Amazing Race" than the "Treasure Hunt" because our groups had to find the checkpoint to receive a clue of where our next checkpoint would be located at and before we received our clue, we had to pass a test.

Not all the checkpoints had a test. However, finding the checkpoint itself was tricky enough as the facilitators were not all dressed in uniform and they blended in with the other students and parents. Some of the venue were isolated while some were easy to locate.

My favourite part was when each member in the group had to play basketball. Not play per se. But each of us were given three chances to play and we had to make sure that it passes through the hoop. During my first attempt itself, I managed to pass the ball through the hoop. (It was probably "Beginner's Luck" but it was a proud moment for a while.)

At the end of the day, our last checkpoint was where we had started and our group won.

It was a rather tiring day as it involved a lot of running and sweating. However, I preferred that compared to the talks given as it got us communicate with one another and helped us to familiarise the campus grounds even more.

See you soon!~
